Penguins take game five

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Philadelphia Flyers have made it a habit of coming from behind to win games this season. The Pittsburgh Penguins are in the midst of a major comeback of their own at the expense of the Flyers.

The Penguins won Game Five 3-2 in come-from-behind fashion after being down 1-0 and 3-1 in the game.

Jordan Staal and Tyler Kennedy scored in the second period to edge out the Flyers as Marc-Andre Fleury played his best game of the series making 24 saves on 26 shots. Defense was the name of the game with neither team getting a ton of shots on net for the first two periods.

The Flyers had only 5 shots on net in the second period, especially once the Penguins got the lead, they went into a defensive shell and barely hung on for the win.

Fleury did face 14 shots in the third period. Despite shelling out five power plays in the first period the refs made only three calls the last two periods. Matt Carle and Scott Hartnell scored for the Flyers while Steve Sullivan had the first Penguins goal.

Game Six is set for Sunday at 12 noon EST in Philadelphia. No word if Flyers defenseman Nicklas Grossman will play Sunday due to a concussion.
