Panthers use third period outburst to down Tampa Bay Update to follow

In Tampa, Spencer Knight made 30 saves for the Florida Panthers in a 4-1 win over the Lightning on Tuesday evening.

After the Lightning’s Brayden Point tied the game, 1-1, the Panthers responded with three unanswered goals in the final frame.

Aleksander Barkov broke the tie to put Florida ahead, 2-1.

Anton Lundell extended the third period lead to 3-1 with his first of the season.

Brandon Montour opened the scoring in the first period to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead.

Anthony Duclair added an empty-net goal to close out the scoring and ice the win.

Andrei Vasilevskiy made 28 saves in the loss.
