“We had so many chances that wouldn’t go in,” Huberdeau said. “Just at the end, it worked out for us, and it’s a big two points. Me and [Barkov] were talking to each other and we were like, ‘There’s no way nothing is going to happen. We had so many chances.’ Finally, it happened at the end. We just stuck with it, and it worked out for us.”
James Reimer made 34 saves to get the win as the Panthers improved to 16-15-6.
“It’s obviously a lot better when you come out on top,” he said. “It’s fun. That kid, he’s got a bright future. He sees the puck well. We were just lucky enough to make a couple of good plays and be able to beat him.”
The Flyers led 1-0 heading into the third period but Mike Hoffman knotted it up with a goal at 13:16 off the power play.
Shayne Gostisbeherescored the Flyers’ only goal with less than two minutes gone in the game.
“It [stinks] not getting any points tonight when I thought we had the game under control,” the Flyers’ Radko Gudas said.

Carter Hart made 34 saves in the loss.
“I felt good,” Hart said. “I thought we did a good job of limiting things to the outside and collapsing things out front so they didn’t get any second or third opportunities, but we just have to put this one behind us for now and prepare for our next challenge.”
