Player-coach Omar Pacha knows consistency holds the key to Rapid Solicitors Hull Stingrays’ hopes of reaching the Elite League play-offs.
Stingrays will be aiming to return to winning ways this weekend when they take on Gardiner Conference rivals Braehead Clan and Fife Flyers.
Pacha’s side sit in seventh place, two points ahead of Edinburgh Capitals in ninth and with three games in hand.
Pacha said: “Two points is the minimum requirement every week but we just need to find a bit more consistency.
“We are looking to put 60 minutes together against Braehead and Fife this weekend and if we do that good things will happen.
“If we work hard, stick to the system and be disciplined then we will generate chances and it is up to us to bury them.
“We have had some pretty tight games against Braehead. They outplayed us the last time we went up there but we managed to keep it close.
“Losing at home to Fife the other week was frustrating because I thought we created a lot of chances.
“We want to end our little slump at home and this is a good opportunity to do that.”
