Opening Weekend For the Oilers

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Oilers hosted the Tahoe Knight Monsters on their opening weekend games at the BOK Center.  Luck didn’t go their way, as they suffered losses during these games despite enthusiastic fans.

Some fans are already bummed for the season, thinking that less than a handful of games is an indicator for the season.  We need to consider enough games to form an opinion.  I usually prefer to not form that kind of opinion until around Thanksgiving.  By then, we have enough games to have a real trend.
The tough part for the Oilers is that their conference is very, very competitive.  Every game is likely to be tough competition.
