PAPILLION, NEBRASKA – The Omaha Lancers were not quite ready to give in on Thursday evening as they pounded the Fargo Force for six goals. Omaha had trailed the series coming into game four and would have seen their season come to an end with a loss.
The Lancers are the top seed yet have struggled with Fargo all season with Thursday’s win being only their second win all season over the Force.
Omaha’s Greg Wolfe and Dakota Eveland paced the win for the Lancers as they recorded three points apiece in the contest.
Omaha goalie Jeff Teglia made 18 of 20 saves as the Lancers cruised past Fargo to force a deciding game five in Omaha on Saturday evening.
