You’ve got to rise to the occasion, and this has been one of the hottest teams in the League so far. So we knew that coming in and obviously we needed to step our game up. To get the two points against that team is definitely big, and we’ve got to keep that feeling going on the road here.”
The two teams traded one goal apiece in each regulation frame.

“We want two points,” Golden Knights coach Bruce Cassidy said. “We’re a good overtime team. We got the puck first and had our opportunity to generate something. They checked it back and good for them. There were good things to get a point. If we start a little better, a little cleaner, maybe we get the two. At the end of the day, we’ll take the one and head to Vancouver.”
