In Raleigh, the Edmonton Oilers’ woes continued on Friday as they limped into a game with the Hurricanes on Wednesday night.
They didn’t fair any better, surrendering four goals to the Hurricanes in the first period en route to 6-3 loss.
Carolina took a 4-0 lead in the first period.
