Obuchowski tally gives Walleye OT win at Brampton

BRAMPTON, ON – The Walleye defeated the Beast 2-1 in overtime on Friday night in Brampton. Matej Machovsky stopped 31 of 32 shots and is now 8-7-0-1 on the season. The Walleye are 26-12-2-2 on the season and 11-8-2-2 on the road.

Kevin Tansey scored just 31 seconds into the first period to give the Walleye a 1-0 lead.

Brampton tied the game 1-1 with a power play goal by Vincent Dunn at 2:49 of the second period.

There were great chances on both sides, but both goaltenders were making key saves to keep the game tied 1-1.

Ryan Obuchowski scored 2:16 into overtime to lift the Walleye over the Beast.
