Nottingham Panthers stayed top of the Elite League with a three goal road win over Fife Flyers in Kirkcaldy on Sunday night.

Matt Alfaro put the Panthers ahead at 6:27 on the power play, reacting quickest to a loose puck around Christian Purboo.
Mitch Fossier and David Noel combined well to set up Tim Doherty for a one timer at 36:51, giving Nottingham a two goal lead through forty minutes.
Chase Pearson made it 3–0 at 3:46 of the third period, giving the visitors a comfortable cushion heading into the final stages. Fife pulled one back with 11:34 left when Anton Karlsson set up Ethan Somoza for a deflection in front.
As the Flyers pushed late, Karlsson turned the puck over in his own zone and Didrik Henbrant found Doherty for the empty net goal, sealing the win with 27 seconds remaining.
