Nottingham Panthers ended a run of three straight losses with an important road victory in Cardiff, beating the Devils 4 to 1 at the Vindico Arena.

Cooper Zech put the Panthers ahead at 12:49 of the opening period, one timing a superb pass from Chase Pearson past Ben Bowns.
The lead was doubled by Tim Doherty at 27:23 after he forced a turnover from Brandon Estes and fired straight into the net. Jimmy Oligny pulled one back for the Devils at 29:45, given space to finish with an excellent screen provided by Brett Ferguson.
Two goals just over two minutes apart put the game beyond reach for the Panthers in the third period. Zech took Didrik Henbrant’s pass and beat Bowns before crashing into the Devils goaltender, who was then replaced by Christian Stoever at 48:15. Bryan Lemos finished the scoring at 50:35, getting to a big rebound from a Zech shot.
