On the other, they have important league business of their own, with the opportunity to move into second place and cut the gap to leaders the Giants to eight points with a win over the Stars.
Dundee arrive in Nottingham 20 points outside a playoff position with only 12 games remaining to make up the deficit on Glasgow Clan. The loss to Clan last weekend may have dealt a significant blow to their postseason hopes. However, mathematically they remain in contention and must continue collecting points to keep the pressure on those above them.
