NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – Troy Schwab scored twice with an assist to lead the Walleye to a 5-4 win Friday night in South Carolina. Toledo trails the best of seven series three games to one. Game Five is Saturday night in South Carolina.
South Carolina used a power play goal to race out to a 1-0 lead at 5:21 of the first period. The Walleye responded as Troy Schwab (8th) deflected a Shane Sims shot past South Carolina goaltender Jeff Jakaitis at 5:49 to even the score. At 8:17 of the period, 
Justin Mercier (8th) found the back of the net to give Toledo a 2-1 lead.
Troy Schwab scored his second goal of the game at 10:48 when Richard Nedomlel found Schwab with a pass at center and he finished a breakaway. The four goal first period finished when Kyle Rogers (first of the playoffs) tapped in a rebound after A.J. Jenks hit the post.
South Carolina pulled within two at 7:15 with a goal from Derek DeBlois. The Walleye countered with a Tyler Barnes (6th) goal at 9:21 of the period for a 5-2 lead. South Carolina scored twice inside of 30 seconds to make a one goal game after two periods. Each team had seven shots in the third period.
Walleye Notes: Goaltender Neil Conway made 26 saves on 30 shots and has a record of 2-2 in the playoffs. South Carolina pulled goaltender Jeff Jakaitis at the 12:38 mark of the first period after he allowed 4 goals on 12 shots. Toledo held a 31-30 shot advantage in the game.
