PHN’s top two talking points

OddBalls sponsorship boosts monthly awards

The announcement that the NIHL has secured a new sponsor for their Player of the Month awards was great news for the league.

OddBalls have given their backing to the awards and hopefully their involvement will help them as they work to raise awareness of testicular cancer.

The company sells a great range of clothing and accessories, with all profits donated to the OddBalls Foundation. To find out more about their work – please click here.

Five-star netminder makes his mark

Harrison Walker’s five-goal haul helped Bradford Bulldogs retain their place at the top of the D2 standings.

The achievement was particularly noteworthy given that young goaltender normally spends his time stopping pucks rather than firing them into the back of the net.

Suspensions forced the Bulldogs to employ Walker as an outfield skater and he made the switch with consummate ease.
