ENGLAND, UK – Hull Pirates clinched the Moralee D1 play-off title with a 13-9 aggregate victory over Sheffield Steeldogs.

The tie was a bad-tempered affair, with the officials dishing out plenty of penalties over the course of the two matches.

Bobby Chamberlain’s four-goal haul was the highlight of Saturday’s game in Sheffield, helping the Pirates secure a 7-7 draw.

Hull dominated the reverse fixture, with Jason Hewitt (2) and Sonny Karlsson (2) topping the scoring in a comfortable 6-2 success.
