CAMBRIDGE, UK – It has been announced that Dave and Jo Lane have stepped down as Peterborough Phantoms’ owners.

The pair have decided to concentrate on their main business – DALROD.

The Lanes had been involved in the club when their children, Dan and Kim, played through the Peterborough junior system.

They sponsored the junior set-up and then the senior team before becoming the main team sponsors around 2012.

Their tenure has seen a period of rare stability for Peterborough and has seen the team remain sustainably at the top end of the NIHL National League with the best results since the record-breaking 2008/09 season.

While some fans expressed concern at the possible effects of changing owners, most appear happy to pass on their gratitude.

The ownership group has not yet been announced officially, but it is understood that they been introduced to other club owners and consists of several people familiar with the Phantoms from both front and back-office experiences.
