The deadline for club-elected salary arbitration notification is Monday at 5 p.m. ET. Salary arbitration hearings will be held from Aug. 11-26. A player can sign a contract with his current team any time before an arbitrator’s ruling.

Last offseason, 26 restricted free agents filed for arbitration. One player had his salary determined by an arbitrator (Tyler Bertuzzi, Detroit Red Wings). The other 25 each came to an agreement before his scheduled hearing.
