The new National Hockey League season is finally here. The rust has been knocked off and the off season pounds have been shed.
New faces have been added to old ones.
Youth is being given its annual opportunity to shine amid the current stars of the game.
Aging players are hoping for one more good season and one more shot at the Cup.
Meanwhile, fans are getting their gear ready for the opening puck drop of their season. Their fantasy sheets and rosters are complete and the first goal and hit and fight are eagerly awaited and tallied.
The Pro Hockey News season started back in September with the new UK season after Australia finished in August.
And now it is North America’s turn to celebrate the game we love and live to cheer.
