Defensive struggles have been a highlight of the early preseason; perhaps it is offensive struggles and not so much the defensive side.

In Vancouver, off3ensive struggles plagued the Canucks as they lost to Martin Jones and the San Jose Sharks, 4-0.
Jones made 30 saves for the shutout.
The Sharks got goals from Brent Burns, Tomas Hertl, Paul Martin, and Nikolay Goldobin.
In Sunrise, the Florida Panthers used two goals from Jonathan Huberdeau and a marker from Nick Bjugstad to edge the Dallas Stars, 3-2.
The Panthers had taken a 3-0 lead midway through the third period before Tyler Seguin and Jason Demers scored for Dallas to tighten the affair.
