Newfoundland’s Berezowski named Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week

SHREWSBURY, N.J. – Jackson Berezowski of the Newfoundland Growlers is the Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week for Oct. 19-22.
Berezowski, who is under contract to Toronto of the American Hockey League, scored three goals – including a pair of game-winning tallies – and added four assists for seven points in three games against Reading during the opening weekend of the season.

The 21-year-old had the game-winning goal and added three assists in a 7-4 win on Friday, picked up an assist in a 4-1 victory on Saturday and scored both of the Growlers’ goals in a 2-1 overtime win on Sunday.

Prior to turning pro, Berezowski recorded 232 points (130g-102a) in 273 career games with Everett of the Western Hockey League.

On behalf of Jackson Berezowski, a case of pucks will be donated to a Newfoundland youth hockey organization by Inglasco, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL.
