ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The New Mexico Ice Wolves announced the start of its first ever main camp on beginning on Wednesday, July 24 and running through Saturday, July 27 at Outpost Ice Arenas in Albuquerque. 
Players from across North America, including New Mexico, and as far away as Europe will converge on Outpost Ice Arenas to battle it out for a spot on the team’s inaugural season making it an exciting opportunity to see future NM Ice Wolves in action for the first time.
The NM Ice Wolves had the second overall pick in the team’s first ever North American Hockey League (NAHL) entry draft last June and the team’s 32 protected players from its draft picks and signed tenders will report to the main camp along with more than 100 additional players that see hockey opportunity in Albuquerque.
The NM Ice Wolves main camp will also be a chance for Albuquerque to see the debut of the team bus which will be on display outside of the Outpost Ice Arenas starting Thursday afternoon. The team bus was acquired and prepped for team travel by NM Ice Wolves and Outpost Ice Arenas marketing partner Ram Motors based in Rio Rancho, NM. The bus is emblazoned with massive unique, one-of-a-kind set of NM Ice Wolves vinyl graphics done by Albuquerque-based SignPlex.
NM Ice Wolves main camp schedule below:
Wednesday July 24 – 2pm MT: Media opportunity to interview coaches and prospective players
Games start at 4pm MT and run through 9pm MT
Thursday July 25 – Games start at 8am MT and run through 8pm MT
Friday July 26- Games start at 8am MT and run through 6pm MT
Saturday July 27 – All Star Game at 11am MT
