MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager, Doug Christiansen, announced today that the Monarchs have signed Zeb Knutson to a Standard Player Contract for the 2018-19 season.
The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Los Angeles Kings.
Knutson, 24, joins the Monarchs after skating in 40 games for Minnesota State, scoring 43 points on 15 goals and 28 assists, during the 2017-18 season. Over his four years with the Mavericks, Knutson racked up 88 points on 38 goals and 50 assists in 127 games.
The 5-foot-11, 181-pound native of Sioux Falls, S.D., played two seasons for the Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL) from 2012-2014. After his four years at Minnesota State, Knutson played two games for the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) and did not record a point.
