Mikheyev agrees to four-year contract with Canucks

Ilya Mikheyev agreed to a four-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 27-year-old forward had 32 points (21 goals, 11 assists) in 53 regular-season games for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season and four points (two goals, two assists) in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games.

Signed by Toronto as an undrafted free agent May 6, 2019, Mikheyev has 72 points (36 goals, 36 assists) in 146 regular-season games and four points in 19 playoff games.

The Canucks also agreed with Curtis Lazar on a three-year contract.

The 27-year-old forward had 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) for the Boston Bruins last season. He had 90 points (35 goals, 55 assists) in 404 NHL games over 10 seasons with the Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres and Bruins.
