INDEPENDENCE, MO – The Kansas City Mavericks were defeated by the Allen Americans 2-1 Saturday night at Cable Dahmer Arena. Connor Doherty netted a goal for the Mavericks. The Mavericks return to action Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Tulsa Oilers at the BOK Center.
