Massa Leads Fargo in Game One

PAPILLION, NE – The Gamblers forced the issue all night upon Fargo as they attempted time and time again to decimate the Force with a barrage of hellfire upon goaltender Ryan Massa.  Massa earned the shutout victory for the Force and was stellar in net, not once allowing the Gamblers to have an opportunity.  The Gamblers attacked Massa routinely barraging the Force netminder with 35 shots to no avail.
The Fargo Force scored twice in the second period as they held the Gamblers and took the lead.  Garrett Allen scored first for Fargo receiving an assist from Matt Leitner for the game winning goal at 14:13 in the second period.  A mere minute later at the 15:20 mark, Colten St. Clair scored the insurance goal to give Fargo the 2-0 lead.  St. Clair received the assist from Oleg Yevenko as the Fargo Force took game one of the finals by a score of 2-0.
