The Toronto Marlies fell to the Providence Bruins 3-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Coca-Cola Coliseum. The Marlies are 5-5-1-0 against Atlantic Division opponents and finish the regular season 0-2-0 against the Bruins.

In the first period, both teams exchanged chances, but both were unable to find the back of the net. In the second, Curtis Douglas tallied his seventh of the season, giving the Marlies a 1-0 lead after two. Douglas now has five points in his last two games.
In the third period, the Bruins came alive offensively.Zach Senyshyn scored just over five minutes in, to tie the game at one. Later, Jack Studnicka and Oskar Steen both added one of their own, as the Bruins took home a 3-1 win.
The Marlies are back in action on Wednesday morning when they host the Abbotsford Canucks. Puck drop is at 11:00am ET.
