Maple Leafs edge Tampa, 4-3, in OT O'Reilly ties it late, Reilly wins it in OT

In Tampa, Ryan O’Reilly  scored with 60 seconds left in regulation to get the Toronto Maple Leafs even with the Lightning, 3-, and force overtime o0n Saturday night. Morgan Reilly then scored with 45 seconds left in the extra session to give the Leafs a 4-3 win.

Ilya Samsonov made 36 saves in the Maple Leafs win.

The Game 3 decision gives Toronto a 2-1 series lead.

Game 4 is set for Tampa on Monday.

The Maple Leafs took a 1-0 lead at 3:24 in the first period on a goal from Noel Acciari.

At 4:50, Tampa’s Anthony Cirelli  tied the game, 1-1.

Auston Matthews scored at 11:10 of the opening stanza for a 2-1 lead back to Toronto.

Tampa retied the game, 2-1-2, on a goal from Brandon Hagel with 32 seconds left in the first.

Darren Raddysh scored at 13:34 of the second period to give the Lightning a 3-2 lead headed to the third period.

FOCOAndrei Vasilevskiy made 24 saves in the Tampa loss.
