Manchester takes a 2-0 series lead on the Thunder

Anderson faced off once again in net for their respective teams. The first period started like in game one, with the Thunder all over the Monarchs in the early going.

Brittain was forced to be sharp early to try and survive the early onslaught of the Thunder, standing tall in the Manchester net. But the Thunder finally broke through on an Alex Wall goal set up by Brett Pollock and Stepan Falkovsky. The Monarchs tried to muster some offense, but most of their momentum was snuffed by the Thunder defense.

The Thunder came out firing in the second period catching an unprepared Monarchs team off-guard. Alex Wall pushed the Thunder lead to two goals, assisted by Brett Pollock and Stepan Falkovsky. After that, the Monarchs took over dominating the Thunder for much of the second.
