The Tampa Bay Lightning welcomed back Steve Stamkos in a 5-3 win for the Bolts over the Florida Panthers.
Ondrej Palat struck for two goals and Brayden Point, Vladislav Namestnikov and Nikita 
Kucherov added markers in the win.
Andrei Vasilevskiy made 33 saves to get the win.
The Panthers got goals from Connor Brickley, Mark Pysyk and Jonathan Huberdeau in the loss.
“We weren’t able to find the one or two [goals] that we needed,” Panthers’ Keith Yandle said. “But I liked the way that we played. I liked the way we competed. It was a good step. You can’t win all of them, but you take a lot of good things from this game.”

Roberto Luongo made 20 saves in the loss for Florida.
