Let those who do evil beware, here comes THE GUARDIANS!

READING, PA – As a huge comic book fan growing up, I had my fair share of heroes. Most of the ones are probably the ones you’ve already heard of: Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Spiderman, Iron Man, and Wonder Woman (hey, you gotta give it up for a woman who can kick butt). As a huge fan of hockey, and in particular the NHL, you can imagine my surprise and delight to hear that famed Comic Book writer Stan Lee and the NHL have teamed up to gives us: The Guardian Project. Stan Lee is most famous in the com ic book industry as creating some of the most beloved comics such as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Daredevil, The Avengers, Silver Surfer and Dr. Strange. Lee first became publisher of Marvel Comics in 1972 and is presently the Chairman Emeritus of Marvel Enterprises, Inc. and a member of the Editorial Board of Marvel Comics. Now, Lee has created 30 new characters based on all 30 NHL teams. As with any superheroes, they will be given a special look and their own powers. All 30 characters will be revealed on a daily basis leading up to this year’s NHL All-Star Game on January 30, 2011. To follow the unveiling of all 30 characters you can go to the following links:
