Leitner Leads Fargo in Game Two

PAPILLION, NEBRASKA – After dropping Game One to Omaha on Friday evening, the Fargo Force would look to rebound on Saturday night, tying the series.  Despite a slow start to play with a scoreless first period, Fargo would fall behind Omaha yet again as the Lancers Tom Craig would score the lone goal of the period at the 2:24 mark to give Omaha the lead.
Once again it would not be the third period that would disappoint fans as Fargo would score four times to gain the lead.  Omaha would score once more on Seth Ambroz power play goal before giving way to the Force.
Nate Condon scored the game tying goal to open up the third period and Matt Leitner would follow up with his first goal of the evening.  Corey Leivermann scored the game winning goal for Fargo at the 14:48 mark of the third period and Matt Leitner followed him a few minutes later with his second goal of the game.
Mixed in with the third periods scoring barrage was the melee that resulted.  This series is starting to prove to be even more exciting than previously thought as it is turning out that Omaha is becoming irritated with the pesky Fargo Force.
Fargo swept Omaha out of the playoffs last season and was abusive to the Lancers throughout the regular season winning all five games played, with the Lancers only earning one point in an overtime loss.
