FORT WAYNE – Roman Will stopped 34 shots for his first professional shutout to lead the Fort Wayne Komets past the Kalamazoo Wings 3-0 Friday night at Allen County Memorial Coliseum. 
Scoreless through the first two periods, the Komets took the lead 35 seconds into the third period with a power-play tally from Brett Perlini (13th). The Komets finished the game 1-for-1 on the power-play, while the K-Wings were 0-for-4.
Perlini (14th) padded the Komets lead with less than five minutes remaining with a redirected marker past Joel Martin for his second goal of the night. Martin made 34 saves in the loss.
Fort Wayne added to its lead late with an empty-netter from Matthew Pistilli (18th) with 15 seconds remaining.
