In Melbourne, Australia, Adrian Kempe  ht for a double Sunday to help drive the Los Angeles Kings to a 32 win over the Arizona Coyotes, and a split in their two-game Global Series-Melbourne preseason set.
Cam Talbot got the start for the Kings and made 20 saves through the first 40 minutes of play.
David Rittich stopped seven of eight shots in the third period.
The Coyotes started off with a goal from Barrett Hayton, his second of the series to give them a 1-0 lead with 78 seconds gone in the game. His goal came off the power play.
The lead held until early in the third period when Kempe scored off the power play to knot the game, 1-1.
LA took a 2-1 lead at 7:33 of the third on a strike from Jacob Moverare .
Kempe scored an empty-net goal with 40 seconds left in the third for a3-1 lead to the Kings.
Arizona got one back on a hit from Travis Dermott with 17 seconds left in the game for the 3-2 final.
Karel Vejmelka made 31 saves for Arizona in the loss.
