Alexander Kerfoot signed a two-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday. Financial terms were not announced.
The 28-year-old forward had 32 points (10 goals, 22 assists) in 82 games last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also scored two goals in 11 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
“He is a smart, skilled forward with good speed who can play anywhere in our lineup,” Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong said. “His experience and versatility will be very valuable to our team.”
Selected by the New Jersey Devils in the fifth round (No. 150) in the 2012 NHL Draft, Kerfoot has 219 points (74 goals, 145 asssists) in 442 games with the Colorado Avalanche and Maple Leafs.
He also has 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) in 48 playoff games.

The Coyotes also signed forward Nick Bjugstad to a two-year contract and forward Jason Zucker and defenseman Troy Stecher each to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not announced for either signing.
Bjugstad, 30, had 29 points (17 goals, 12 assists) in 78 regular-season games for the Edmonton Oilers and Coyotes last season including six points (four goals, two assists) in 19 games after he was acquired in a trade with the Coyotes on March 2, and three goals in 12 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Zucker, 31, had 48 points (27 goals, 21 assists) in 78 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins last season.
Stecher, 29, had 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) in 81 games with the Coyotes and Calgary Flames. Arizona traded him to Calgary on March 3.
