LOVELAND – Scoring on a rebound with 25 seconds remaining in overtime, Patrick Kennedy lifted the Kalamazoo Wings past the Colorado Eagles 2-1 Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center.
Striking first Matt Caria (7th) placed a wrister through the legs of Clarke Saunders 15:08 into the first period. 
Intercepting a K-Wings breakout pass, Chris Knowlton laid a pass to the tape of Colin Joe (7th) to put Eagles on the board three minutes later.
Remaining tied at 1-1 until overtime, Kennedy (11th) scored off a Justin Taylor rebound to give the K-Wings the victory.
Joel Martin made 30 saves in the victory.
Kalamazoo will continue their four-game road trip tomorrow, Saturday, March 28th with a 7:05 p.m. (MDT) encounter against Colorado.
