Jets score late, down Kraken in OT, 3-2 Update to follow

In Seattle, the Winnipeg Jets’ Mark Scheifele scored his second goal of the game, and 10th of the season, in extra time on Sunday to give the Jets a 3-2 win over the Kraken.

Scheifele’s first came in the middle frame off the power play to tie the score, 1-1.

David Rittich made 19 saves in the Jets win.

Winnipeg improved to 9-4-3.

The Jets’ Blake Wheeler tied the game, 2-2, with six seconds left in the game, the strike came off the power play.

Winnipeg was 2-for-7 on the power play.

Jordan Eberle put the Kraken up, 1-0, in the first period on a power play goal.

Seattle had one goal in four four chances with the extra skater.

Seattle dropped to 8-5-3

Brandon Tanev gave Seattle a 2-1 lead early in the third.

Martin Jones made 27 saves in the Kraken loss.
