In Winnipeg, the Jets struck for four goals in a 4:17 stretch of the second period and routed the Philadelphia Flyers, 7-3, It was the third straight loss for the Flyers.
Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves to get the win.
James van Riemsdyk, Matt Niskanen and hayne Gostisbehere scored for the Fluers.
“I thought we played with pretty good energy (following their 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Saturday),” Niskanen said. “We had the puck a lot and we didn’t give up a ton, but we gave up the quality and they sniped.”
The four-goal outburst was part of a five-minute major and game misconduct given to the Flyers’ Joel Farabee.
“We’re just trying to find that consistency that we talked about all year long and you just worry about your next shift and doing the right things on that,” van Riemsdyk said.
Mark Scheifele, Blake Wheeler and Kyle Connor scored for the Jets.
“That’s a big point in the game,” Wheeler said. “They had just scored to make it 2-1, kind of riding some momentum, so that was a big moment in the game. We had to take advantage of that. I thought we did enough good things, got rewarded.”
Logan Shaw, Nikolaj Ehlers, Patrik Laine, and Luca Sbisa also scored for Winnipeg.

Brian Elliott got the start, but was give the hook in the second intermission. He 11 saves on 17Â shots.
“There’s no doubt that this is a challenging time for us right now, but we’ve got to find a way and that’s what we’re going to work on tomorrow,” Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault said.
Carter Hart iced the third period and made six saves.
