DES MOINES, IA (Dec. 10, 2016) – The San Antonio Rampage (11-12-1-0) split their first back-to-back series with the Iowa Wild (11-13-1-1) after suffering a 4-0 loss Saturday evening at Wells Fargo Arena. 
Iowa lit the lamp late in the first when Jeff Hoggan netted a shot from the point with assists from Zach Palmquist and Nick Saracino with 37 seconds remaining in the frame. The Wild would extend their lead to two in the final minute of the second stanza when a pass from Pat Cannone deflected off Alex Tuch’s skate and into the net under the pads of Rampage netminder Spencer Martin at the 19:05 mark.
Iowa scored again midway through the third period when Sam Anas finished a pass from Grayson Downing at the 10:42 mark. The Wild solidified their victory with an unassisted short-handed goal from Jordan Schroeder 13:19 into the frame.
