IceHogs fall in Winnipeg, 4-1 to Moose

For the second straight afternoon, Brett Seney opened the scoring in the first 30 seconds of the game. The IceHogs captained gathered in a rebound from Samuel Savoie’s shot and slammed it past Manitoba’s Domenic Divincentiis.

The Moose pulled even 1-1 at 14:49 of the 1st period with Samuel Fagemo scoring his second of the weekend.

In the 2nd period, Manitoba grabbed its first lead of the weekend when David Gustafsson located a rebound and jammed it past Drew Commesso.

Manitoba doubled its lead at 10:03 of the 2nd. Tyrel Bauer made it 3-1 Moose deflecting in an Isaak Phillips back door pass.

The IceHogs pushed in the 3rd and earned multiple power plays, but couldn’t solve Divincentiis and the Moose defense. Jaret Anderson-Dolan added on a 4-1 empty net goal to put the game on ice.
