MELBOURNE – It was clear that there were two different games between Melbourne Ice and Adelaide Adrenaline that were played on the week end. The Saturday game was clear that Melbourne Ice has under estimated Adrenaline and were playing catch up to win in a shoot out.
Adrenaline had a far better scoring rate with 26 shots on goal with scoring 4 goals where as Melbourne had 39 shots on goal.
Leading goal scorers from Melbourne Ice was Jason Baclig with a goal and two assists and the Adrenaline T.J. Battani with two goals and three points.
By the end of the third period and the scores were tied at 4-all. The only scorer to find the net for the Shootout was Jason Baclig from Melbourne Ice. Final Scores Melbourne Ice 5 to Adrenaline 4.
Sunday’s game was different with Melbourne Ice and they came out fighting. It all Started with Matt Armstrong and he found the back of the net twice in the first period. 
The final score was Melbourne Ice 6 to Adrenaline 2.
Leading goal scorers for the Ice is Matt Armstrong and Jason Baclig with two goals each with the Shots on goal even were Melbourne Ice 28 to Adrenaline 26.
