In Raleigh, the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Sidney Crosby’s second goal of the game came on a delayed penalty midway through the third period to tie the Carolina Hurricanes, 2-2.

The Canes responded with two goals to take a 4-2 win on Saturday night.

Seth Jarvis scored both goals in the outburst, with the first coming at 11:52 on a top, and the second with under a minute left in the third off a power play strike into an empty net.

Carolina improved to 10-7-0.

Crosby staked the Pens to a 1-0 lead midway through the opening stanza.

Pittsburgh dropped to 8-8-0.

The Canes took a 2-1 lead into the third period when Sebastian Aho scored at 13:06 of the middle frame.

Carolina went up, 2-1, at 2:40 of the third on a strike by Brent Burns.

Tristan Jarry made 30 saves in the loss.
