Every player wants to play their best game, that there is no doubt but can players understand those areas where perhaps their skills and gameplay allow themselves to have weak points? Is it possible for a player to acknowledge that their game constantly
needs to be worked on and honed in order for it to improve? Players at all levels have the ability to improve their game but they need to work hard and crucially they need to understand the elements of their play that need to be scrutinised. They can do this alone or work with their coaches or teammates to understand what these points are. If they do this, then they’re well on their way to becoming an overall better player in the long run.
The guys at Tucker Hockey who have over 20 years’ experience in the game in the Calgary area have put together this infographic below that outlines some really valuable tips and advice on how to become a better hockey player. Key points like the importance of communication, learning to read
the game are touched on and elaborated upon providing any enthusiastic player the chance to understand how they can improve their skills and game. Check out the full graphic below for all the details.
