Heat earn a win at home against the Gulls

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Heat defeated the San Diego Gulls by a score of 4-2 Saturday night at Stockton Arena on the backs of the Kenny Agostino, Freddie Hamilton and Garnet Hathaway line, as well as two big goals from Derek Grant. Agostino continued his hot streak, opening the scoring in the first period, while Hamilton buried one of his own in the second frame. Hathaway earned two assists, one on the Hamilton marker and the other on the second of Derek Grant’s two tallies. With two goals, Grant earned his third multi-goal game of the year and pushed himself back into the team-lead with seven goals on the year now. Goaltenders Joni Ortio and Ryan Faragher both played great in their respective creases, but Ortio collected the win, his second in a Heat sweater, outdueling Faragher in the end.  Here are a few great shots from that game.
