HAMILTON, CANADA – The Bulldogs grabbed back the momentum heading on the road with a solid 3-1 over the Heat on home ice.
Three Bulldogs players scored including Ryan White, Mike Glumac and David Desharnais who added in the insurance goal in the second period. Both teams were held off the scoreboard in the final stanza.
Cedric Desjardins picked up the win for Hamilton in making 22 saves on 23 Heat shots.
Jason Jaffray had the loan Abbotsford goal in the first period. Aside from his goal the Heat were unable to break through for a consistent offensive push in the Bulldogs’ zone and Desjardins was solid in net for the ‘Dogs.
David Shantz took the loss in making 20 saves on 23 shots.
The series now switches to Abbotsford for the next three games in this 2-3-2 format.
