The San Diego Gulls fell to the Abbotsford Canucks at Rogers Forum today, 4-0.
San Diego put up 30 shots in attempt to get on the board but could not find a way through. The team had another successful night of penalty killing, going 2-for-2 which brings their overall percentage to 85.2%. The power play still proved to be a struggle as the Gulls went 0-for-2.
Goaltender Tomas Suchanek made his fourth AHL appearance this season today. Suchanek saved 25 of 29 shots, posting a 4.00 GAA and .862 SV%.
The Gulls will next head back to Pechanga Arena San Diego on Wednesday, Jan. 28 to take on the Tucson Roadrunners (7 p.m. PST).
