Corey Tropp’s penalty shot attempt 53 seconds into the third period was stopped by Cleveland goaltender Jeff Zatkof. The penalty shot was the ninth attempt in Gulls history (2-for-9). Tropp became the first Gull to attempt multiple penalty shots following his unsuccessful attempt on Mar. 13 vs. San Antonio.
