Tyler Busch was in on every goal, with an assist and a pair of goals including the overtime winner just 69 seconds into the tiebreaking period as the Flames collected a 3-2 win over the visiting Glasgow Clan.
Brett Neumann and Jake Coughler traded goals about 5 minutes apart just over halfway through the 1st, but a Deven Sideroff strike inside the last 40 seconds of the frame put Clan in front to start the middle frame.
57 seconds into the 2nd, and 13 seconds into a powerplay, Tyler Busch had the game even again, this time at 2 apiece and they skated through the remainder of the period, and the one that followed, without any further scoring to set up extra time where Busch’s heroics secured the extra table point.
Justin Fazio made 35 saves on 37 shots while Clan’s Sami Aittokallio was 34 for 37.
