WEST VALLEY CITY, UT – The Utah Grizzlies have signed forwards Gehrett Sargis and Brandon Cutler for the 2021-22 season.
Sargis has played with Pensacola and Knoxville of the Southern Professional Hockey League, totaling 68 points (35 goals-33 assists) in 154 games. He scored 20 goals in 41 games for Knoxville in the 2019-20 season. Prior to turning pro, he played his college hockey at Robert Morris University where he had 185 points in 125 games from 2011-14.
Cutler will be entering his first season as a professional. He played in the Western Hockey League for the past five seasons with Red Deer and Victoria, recording 106 points (47 goals-59 assists) in 258 games.
