COLUMBUS, Ga – The Georgia Ice Dawgs rode the hot hand of Emily Barber in the nets to a convincing 8-4 win over the Auburn Tigers this weekend.

Barber iced for the Dawgs in the match and was solid in net as Auburn could not find a serious flaw in her game.
The match was physical with roughing penalties handed out out like trick or treat candy.
A tight game through 40 minutes was broken open in the third period when Georgia struck for five goals in the final frame.
Auburn heal a slim 2-1 lead after the first period but the Dawgs tied it 3-3 through 40 minutes.
