QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. —Leading twice in the game Gatineau saw Quebec scoring the tying goal in third period to force overtime. Showing a 5-1 record in these circumstances, Quebec seemed to be confident, but seeing Olympiques goaltender Mathieu Bellemare making key saves to give his team a chance to win, Olympiques left winger Mikhail Shestopalov, got the last word, as his one-timer slowly slide behind Quebec goaltender Dereck Baribeau with 1:11 remaining to the fourth period, leading 
Gatineau to 4-3 win against Quebec.
Only one goal was scored in Gatineau in first period. The penalty to Quebec Remparts defenseman Thomas Dajcar for tripping proved to be costly as the Olympiques scored their first goal with 2:57 to play.
Shawn Boudrias took a rebound shot from teammate Pier-Olivier Lacombe to beat Quebec goaltender Dereck Baribeau on glove side. For Gatineau Left winger, it was his fifth of the season and also his first in last twelve games.
Gatineau opened the second frame adding a second goal to their lead only 47 seconds in. Already scoring Olympiques first goal in the game right winger Boudrias scored Gatineau second goal in the game his second of the game as his shot beat Baribeau over left shoulder.
Quebec replied 2:03 later with their first goal of the game. Left out of the lineup for most times since the season began Anthony Wojcik scored his first of the season. Defensemen Sam Dunn and Thomas Dajcar got the assist.
Olympiques regained their two-goal lead as former Quebec defenseman Darien Kielb came to haunt his former team scoring his second of the regular season 12:27 of the second period completing great pass from Alexandre Landreville.
Quebec came back cutting Gatineau’s lead in half for second time in the game. From the slot, center Jesse Sutton redirected a shot from the blue line by Braeden Virtue beating Gatineau goaltender Mathieu Bellemare at 16:42.
Quebec tied the game 3-3 on Derek Gentile one-timer beating Gatineau netminder on his left side with 6:02 remaining in the third period.
In the overtime, both teams traded scoring chances, until Shestopalov saw his one-timer shot sliding behind Quebec goalie Baribeau giving a 4-3 overtime win.
Quebec will return in action next Wednesday night hosting the Gatineau Olympiques.
